Bank of England, through the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), supervises UK insurers, with actuaries in its Insurance Supervision Directorate assessing the risks firms pose to the PRA's objectives. The Bank lists an Actuarial Development Programme among its graduate programmes, and its Graduate Development Programme and Industrial Placement Programme include a Supervision stream covering insurance. Recent actuarial and graduate roles have been based in London and Leeds.
